I played the same segment from my sbd's as the clip provided, and I personally don't detect $450 worth of difference. I ran it by several people intently listening and they could detect no massive difference. Just my observation.

Rob, every time I see you respond to yourself like this, it makes me wonder what could possibly be going through your mind.

By the way, Mint jelly is your weakest fake name yet. You need to work on his personality a little more. Make him more believable.

I try to stay on the sidelines with all this, as it is unclear to me how you come to your assertions, but reading “I ran it by ‘several people’ intently listening...”, in the multi-poster context you propose, made me chuckle.

That's just hilarious!

Kochman must have listened to the Aarhus show with his friends pismashio, darkstarz, yokosduo, music sucks, west hills, mint jelly, helenbuckeeta, Jacky Hughes, susaponte, etc, etc...

I do enjoy the shows all the forumites posts and take advantage of the knowledge available. I just posted my opinion, sorry if you don't agree with it. That is why I said it was just my opinion.

If you must know, I was angular, and figured that I had pissed off enough people with that handle and try to start anew. I was eating pistashios when I was reading the forum and my son calls them pismashios. I'm sorry I have a weak handle. Be glad it wasn't "cracken nuts".

I guess I'm not in the secret "inner circle". No worries, I'll just hang back and keep getting the shows and tidbits you guys post. Thanks

I'm not sure I believe you not Rob. But then again, who am I to judge. Im just another not Rob as well.

Believe me. Here is my angular post. I just wanted to give an opinion on the sound quality post. I have a wife and a kid and can't afford a $450 dollar set of discs no matter how good they may sound. It may be a feeble attempt to convince my own mind that I have it on my computer, in a comperable sound quality. At least I have it right and listen to the Grateful Dead and can appreciate it.

That being said, there are about a dozen or so people on the forum that I really look up to as far as knowledge (names not included for fear of leaving somebody out). I am amazed at the knowledge they have concerning shows and history. I do appreciate their efforts in their posts, and take from it what I can. I also do not post much for fear of being an idiot in comparison to these people. That is why I usually sit back and watch. Sometimes it seems that when I do post I will usually put my foot in my mouth. Maybe I'm too thinned skinned on the archive.

Enough flowers and self pity, I hope you now believe it is not Rob. Actually my name is John. San Antonio, Texas First show 4-13-1988 Rosemont Horizon-Rosemont, Illinois.
